On your initial visit, you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists and you will be asked to fill out a brief medical form and give your personal details.
You will be called into the consultation room where one of our physios will talk you through the relevant history relating to your problem.
We tend to give as much information to you regarding your problem as we can. Understanding your problem helps in improving the outcome of your treatment. We will give you clear and concise information regarding your problem but please feel free to ask any relevant questions you may have, we will only be too happy to answer them.
We suggest that you bring a pair of shorts and vest top along with you on your visits.
The physiotherapist may ask you to do a few movements to test the symptoms you complain of. This is helpful in formulation a working diagnosis.
It is then usual for the therapist to look at the painful or stiff area more closely and be required to inspect hands-on.
It is only with your permission that any of the above is carried out and it is necessary to assess fully and thoroughly on the first visit in order to treat you successfully and quickly.
The proposed treatment plan will be discussed with you and carried out with your permission.
